In the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five food delivery service apps in Europe demonstrated varying trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed:

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from approximately 296K to 380K. The highest downloads were observed in the week of April 25. The app's active users also showed a gradual increase, peaking at around 5.7M in early June before slightly declining to 5.6M by the end of the quarter.

getir: groceries, food&beyond experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting from nearly 493K at the end of March and dropping to about 191K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar declining pattern, decreasing from approximately 8.7M to 6.9M over the quarter.

Just Eat - Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 237K and 291K. The app's active users saw moderate variations, peaking at around 4.4M in early May and ending the quarter at approximately 4M.

Glovo: Food Delivery and more also exhibited consistent weekly downloads, with numbers hovering between 211K and 240K. Active users for Glovo showed a steady increase, reaching a peak of around 3.4M in mid-June.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a decrease in weekly downloads, starting from 276K at the end of March and falling to approximately 204K by the end of June. The app’s active users similarly declined from about 8.9M to 7.8M during the quarter.
